Er... Trinidad and Tobago is NOT in Africa Guy!
Yes I know but LOOK! Water water everywhere - I’ve just had dry desert for 6 months.
And before you go any futher check out my slideshow of the Trinival Carnival. This is in February. Put this down as a must do in life - a true carnival in spirit and the original Caribbean carnival and mother of the Notting Hill Carnival, off which I'm afraid the old dear still knocks the pants.

Ok let me explain. After 5 or 6 months doing thousands of miles across Africa practically every week, much of it in sand and dust.... I need my fix of water!
Handily for me my lovely other half, Joannah, is from Trinidad and she lives in Tobago!!! Wayhey!

So this ol’Brit decided there was nothing for it but to complete the old slave triangle, and for three months of the year I quit the British weather, leave Africa behind and swing on a hammock in the Caribbean with pirates while Joannah goes out to work. Sweet as turtle pie! (oh no - that’s not allowed, they are protected, but they come on shore in droves).

Looking to join a group for an adventure holiday?

I will be running small group adventures in April - June and a trip to coincide with Trinidad Carnival in February.

A luxury family holiday, or a romantic vacation on the Caribbean sea?
We can organise that at any time of year.
Waiting for turtles, Grande Riviere
From Here 2 Timbuktu can show you the Caribbean from a Caribbean perspective.
