The Caribbean is great all year.
Feb-July is best for Giant Leather Backed Turtles.

Sample itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Trinidad settle into forest guest house.

Day 2 - Kayak parts of river and swamp – see howler monkey, snakes, toucans, parrots etc. (stay at forest guest house)

Day 3 - Continue to kayak parts of river and swamp and/or tour the east coast and the longest stretch of beach in the Caribbean (stay at forest guest house)

Day 4 – Boat trip out to beautiful remote beach, Petit Tacaribe. Swim the surf or explore the forest during the day, at night wait for the Giant Leatherback turtles to come ashore to lay their eggs. Stay in basic eco huts.

Day 5 – Walk (two to three hour walk through forest ) to waterfall/or hang out on the Petite Tacaribe beach. Stay in eco huts.

Day 6 –Leave Petit Tacaribe for luxury beach lodge. Pamper yourself, walk and swim helping the odd baby leatherback turtle making her way to the sea.(stay at Grand Riviere Hotel).

Day 7 – Depart for old plantation style guest house next to mountain monastery and enjoy some of the best local food on the island.

Day 8 – Twenty min flight to Tobago – stay at villa or hotel.

Perhaps a day off from water! Before....

Days 9 –12 - Diving course (hotel stay) 3-4 days depending on abilities.

If you are not diving there are plenty of other excursions you can do - mountain biking, river walking, snorkeling, kite and wind surfing...

We can take you on a road trip of the island or just relax in your organic eco seaside lodge with jacuzzi, bathing pools and private beach at your disposal.

Day 13 – Divers rest day. Visit to charming remote village. Snorkel reefs opposite Ian Fleming’ s home, Goat Island

Day 14 – Depart.

And that’s your water quota for the year.

All done in a perfect temperature!

In February/March we can offer all this with the famous Trinidad Carnival.

Trinidad and Tobago has a good climate all year.

For turtle watching you need to come between March to July.
