Your trip in brief:
- Arusha National Park - game viewing and walking.
- Tarangire National Park - for the biggest herds of elephant.
- Net hunting with the Hadzabe bushmen, Lake Eyasi.
- Camping by waterfalls near Maasai villages.
- Search for wild dog with specialist conservationists.
- Serengeti safari - game viewing and camping
- Ngorongoro crater - game viewing.
- Camping with Maasai on Lengai volcano followed by morning descent of the Rift Valley escarpment to a lovely eco-camp at Lake Natron.

Your trip will be organised by me, operated by Theodore - aka Toda - using his Toyota Landcruisers, and my brother will be in the background to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Accommodation mixes some guest house accommodation, camping with individual tents and an accompanying kitchen camp, and we end up with a couple of nights at Lake Natron eco-camp for a spot of luxury camping.

Lake Natron is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to - a soda lake in a baking dry bowl of landscape between the Rift Valley escarpment and the volcanic mountains stretching north and east.

Each tent has its own path down to a stream leading into the lake for you to bathe in privacy in fresh running water ... all day long if you like - actually for 2 days!

By the end of this journey you will have had one of the best wildlife experiences on the planet and have some understanding of how the important conservation issues for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro fit into the cultural, geographical and anthropological landscapes that surround them.

In addition to the Rift Valley journey your trip can begin with walking on Mount Meru and end with relaxation on Tanzania’s wonderful Indian Ocean coast.
